England man could be one for second section win but England are struggling.
Mixed fortunes for the England team as we enter the half way point of the second day of World Champs action.
After moving up to fifth in his section by bagging up on bleak at range, Scotthorne is slipping back down. The same is happening to Shipp and Gardener.
Sean Ashby though is putting in a stunning performance. Second in section behind a POlish angler, Ashby has 180 bleak and a 1kg carrassio in the net. The good news is that the Polish angler, who has nearly 300 bleak, is slowing, meaning Sean could well be on for a second section win which could see him get into the medals - although it would be tight.
In the team stakes it looks as though it's Poland and Serbia that are running away with it at the moment.
